Unfortunately, of late, Royal Mail has lost approximately 2% of the deliveries we
send out. This translates roughly to 2 in every 100 parcels. As a company we are
no longer able to claim the full compensation of £32 on lost 1st Class items and very
often have to turn over the claims process to you, the customer. Obviously, this is
far from ideal and we are currently in negotiations with a large fulfilment company
to take over our Royal Mail deliveries.
Until such time, we strongly recommend that if your order is in excess of £30 you
pay for Special Delivery, selectable from the 1st page on the checkout. Although
this costs £5.95 we can at least offer some form of tracking and you are covered
in the event of a loss. You are almost (note almost) guaranteed delivery of the goods
on a next working day basis.
The alternative is our Courier company APC who are reliable and will also have your
parcel with you on a next working day basis.
The drawback to both Special Delivery and the courier company is that you need to be
in to take delivery o f the items, however, at least you know your goods are going
to reach you.
